More additions to my 2010 Calendargirlz CJ....

Here are 3 more spreads in my round robin CJ. For the top spread I used an image that I found very calming, adding a winter poem to the opposite page. I love winter and find the snow so quiet and peaceful.

The horrific disaster in Haiti, I'm sure has impacted us all. The middle image is a spread I created about the disaster, adding an image of a woman in her 70s, Ena Zizi, who was pulled from the rubble alive after several days of being buried.

For my bottom spread, I used 2 journal prompts posted by Marilyn in our Calendargirlz group: the colour prompt aqua, peach and ochre, and paint scratching. I used a hair pick to do the paint scratching. I'm not all that pleased with the results of this spread, but really enjoyed the prompts. Thanks Marilyn, wish the finished product was better for your fun prompts!

Precious advice on journaling....

This is the sweetest inspiration I have ever seen on why to keep a personal journal. Watch it, it will put a smile on your face and have you opening up your journal!

Playing catch up....

I have several pages still to upload after a couple of finishing touches. But for now, here are a 1/2 dozen pages I've created in my woolen art journal.

My spirits flew as high as the birds when the new year began. Simply because it is time again to partake in another calendar journal round robin over at Calendargirlz. I'm so addicted to this format of art journaling in engagement calendars!

Fairly soon I will post more photos once I've completed the little bits and pieces on my woolen art journal pages. But, now it's back to gathering up more ideas for my 2010 calendar journal!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS!

Baby, it's cold outside!

Well, it is. And what better way to spend it than cozied up in a nice warm throw! And by the looks of things, Angel agrees whole-heartedly!
