Calendar Journaling...

It's been a while since I added to my blog. I just finished working in Vicki's calendar journal for our 2007 round robin. I really enjoyed working in her very uniquely illustrated journal. Working in Vicki's CJ was therapeutic. It brought me back to the land of the living, so to speak...back to my altered art and journaling, and it sure feels good!! Below are three of the spreads I created.

After work tonight I decided to prep some pages in one of my 'stay @ home' CJs. I also cut out shapes for my 'papermonzsters' using some BASICGREY & daisyd paper. These odd looking but friendly monzsters have really grown on me.

MY PAPERMONZSTERS

This week I decided to create a new book full of whimsical characters like the ones seen here. I've titled the book 'papermonzsters'. Above is the book cover, and the images below are of the pages I made in the book so far.

On the left you will find a photo of one of my watercolour paintings titled 'Forest Mist' which I painted for my parents. I haven't done any landscape painting in such a long while. I've been so very wrapped up in altered art, calendar journals & art journaling...it's all so wonderfully addictive, and it keeps me sane!
