I am still on a mission, creating backgrounds in my Comp Jour #1. Above is one of my latest backgrounds. I've just about completed it. I was going to journal something in the middle of the whole spread with bright pink ink, but I feel that I may ruin what I have already achieved with this piece so far. I have an idea to add just a little touch of something to it, and forget about the journaling. I'm going to sleep on it for now.

This is very effective, Vale.
That happens to me OFTEN, Vale -- doing the background and then realizing it's actually a complete page, that the images speak what needs/wants to be said. This layout is soooo niiiiice ... ooh, I want to go camping!
I can see why you would want this spread to stand alone - it's very strong!
